The interviewers were more interested in the approach I took to solve the problems than the solution itself. They wanted to hear my thoughts out loud when they presented a problem.

Ridiculous coding questions that had nothing to do with the job seems they only value hiring family or friends of existing employees there.

Algorithm questions and past experience to see if you would be a good fit. Being positive and showcasing that you can think of edge cases is very important since as a tester you need to think about how the code would break given a bad or unexpected input.
