I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at FIS
Interview
I had applied for Senior Software postion-Java.
The interview process took a week.
On Day 1 , I went through an online test and a technical round. I could clear both rounds and was called again next week for further rounds.
On Day 2 , I had my 2nd technical round and then a HOD/Director round.
I cleared both the rounds and I was informed by the HR that I am selected and I'll get a call for salary negotiation. After two weeks I got a call from HR, we agreed on the salary proposed by them. I was told I'll get the offer within a week but that never happened.
I've seen companies who don't release offer letter due to salary concerns but I've never seen or heard from anyone of such a company where negotiation has happened and they still don't release offer.
The HR kept assuring me for several days that you'll get the offer, he said "hiring has been freezed for now".
The whole process was a waste of time and energy.
It was a very bad experience for me and I would suggest the recruitment team to be a bit more reasonable and honest in the recruitment process.
Two round and both technically sound questions were asked and over all good questions & interviewer explained the questions well. The HR round was also good and negotiation were also done in professional manner. Onboard process is smooth.
Very easy process. Just be the confidence. Office culture is hybrid more over depends on your project. Using almost all the latest technology. Getting experience in FIS would make you to work anything places after it. That much strong you can become after joining. But hikes are low.
The interview process typically involves three technical rounds, each assessing different aspects such as coding proficiency, problem-solving skills, data structures, algorithms, and system design. These rounds ensure the candidate’s technical expertise is thoroughly evaluated. After clearing these, there is one managerial round focused on understanding the candidate’s leadership qualities, communication style, conflict resolution approach, decision-making ability, and how effectively they can collaborate with diverse teams while aligning with organizational goals. This structure ensures a balance between technical competency and managerial or interpersonal capabilities, providing a holistic view of the candidate’s overall suitability for the role.
