After reading many other feedback about the interview process with Factspan I felt that its important that I have to contribute.
Although the interview started well it ended poorly.
I first had a contact with HR via LinkedIn. Then I had 2 technical rounds and the questions were not difficult at all.
Next round was with the Vice President which went on for 75minutes and Interview was rescheduled once. This round was not tough but more process oriented questions were asked, in fact I even learned some things from this interview round.
The last round was with CEO, which was planned to happen at 23 hours IST, as CEO lives in the US. But the CEO did not turn up for the interview and I had to quit the call after 30 minutes of waiting. I was never informed clearly on why the CEO did not join the video call as I was waiting in the call by midnight. I had to take initiative to enquire whether they were planning to have the interview again. To my surprise I was first told that my profile was in discussion (that too after scheduling an interview with CEO). When contacted again I was told that the position went on hold and they will contact me again if the position opens.
In short after spending 1 month in the interview process, why my profile was not discussed well initially, looks strange and I felt disappointed. But a good learning by attending an interview with Factspan.
