Phone call with the hiring manager. Asked me a lot of questions, specifically about ideas and what i'd make when there. Fair interview but there was a lot of noise in the background of interviewer so very hard to focus.

Did a phone screen, went into their office for an in person interview with the CEO and another seller, sent a follow up email, they ultimately let me know they are no longer hiring for the role.

Question 1
The first thing the CEO asked me during an in-person interview was "what do your parents do for a living?" I thought this was extremely odd given that my parents occupations do not impact what I bring to the table professionally.
