I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at FanDuel (Orlando, FL) in July 2021
Interview
I was reached out to by a recruiter on Linkedin and they said they thought I would be a good fit for the position and they said they wanted to help set me up for an interview. I submitted my application on a holiday believe it or not, and the recruiter replied back the same day and let them know theyd flag my resume for the following Monday. They send you a 2 questions assessment that they want you to answer. You have to submit this assessment to be considered for the next round. After reviewing the assessment, they called me back for a final group interview. The largest group interview I had ever done was with 4 people. so imagine my surprise at the 10+ people in the Zoom room. There was one Talent Acquisition Specialist and 2 operations managers present.
They said you'd receive a decision within 48 hours and they actually reached out to me the next day and asked for a good time to follow up with me the following week.
I saw a lot of reviews with negative interview experiences with FanDuel, so I was originally concerned, but the process was incredibly smooth if you did what you were supposed to and youre a likable, personable, and professional person.
You will not get the job by coming in a T-Shirt and lead with "I have experience with Customer Service"
Like no duh, everyone applying for the job has experience in Customer Service. Focus on your own personality and how you can bring the best version of yourself to the job. They gave me nothing but praise for the quality of my interview and they offered me the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
3 most valuable attributes of customer service. (This was a group centered questions so they opened up the questions to everyone and the group had to come to a consensus)
Describe a time where you had a negative customer experience and how did you handle it?
What was the best customer service experience youve had?
The interview process consists of a group interview of your standard “describe a time when” or “what would you do if” questions. They are not tricky but it is best to be prepared and have previously experienced scenarios from previous jobs ready to use for these questions.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are 7 words to describe a good customer operations agent.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at FanDuel (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2021
Interview
A streamlined interview process consisting of two hypothetical situations in which the Agent responds to a common customer inquiry. (i.e. Signup bonus not rewarded/Sportsbook availability in region) and a ‘final round’ group interview via Zoom (my interview group was about 14 applicants total).
The interviewers numbered 3 management on camera and 1 off camera.
Process was awkward for the amount of people in the chat given the length of the answers to the questions.
No e-mail given to notify rejected applicants.
