I applied online. I interviewed at Fanatics (London, England) in May 2026
Interview
Interview process has 4 steps.
First, interview with HR, then HM, then a case study with a panel and then with leadership.
I reached 2nd stage but both people I spoke with were not really organised. Especially the HM arrived 3-4 mins late to the call, had not seen my CV in advance, replied to Slack messages during the interview, and asked to leave 5 minutes earlier because she had another interview to attend.
Lack of professionalism and respect for candidates' time.
Additionally, the role was advertised as Remote but HR asked me at least 3 times if I am okay with being 1-2 days per week in the office. Furthermore, the narrative was changed even more by the HM requiring at least 2 days in the office.
There was no good chemistry between myself and the HM so I am neither surprised nor disappointed by the outcome.
4-5 rounds. Lots of culture and fit questions. Some technical at the beginning. Did not have a case study. Good communication from HR throughout about progress. Also good explanation of benefits.
