The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fandor (San Francisco, CA) in June 2016
Interview
Began with a brief phone interview which eventually lead to a round of interviews with about five different people from the company. The company has a very startup and somewhat informal feel. I was told that I did not get the position because they needed someone with more availability. Overall a positive experience. Great location across the street form the Transamerica pyramid.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fandor (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Only made it through screening call for a DevOps role. He was looking for someone much more senior on the ops side, especially networking. Looking back at the job description now I feel the questions were not related to the required skills, especially low level debugging of network traffic or debugging in memory processes.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Fandor (San Francisco, CA) in July 2011
Interview
Best programming interview I've had. The first step was a home problem that took an hour or two to complete. The on-site interview centered on a pair programming session adding new features to the home problem, on a computer, with an IDE. I felt this was a much more realistic way to see a candidate code as compared to the typical board-coding problem or logic puzzle.
