Interview process was strange and disorganized. Farr Academy reached out to me through email. After we scheduled an interview date, I asked if I could potentially tour the school or talk to any students during or after the interview. The principal replied, "No, and I don't know why you would ask that question." When I arrived at the interview, everything proceeded smoothly. I was interviewed by the principal, who asked standard questions about my experiences with differentiated instruction and discipline. The interview was short – 20 minutes – and the principal seemed affable but disorganized. I was scheduled to talk with the academic director afterwards, but the principal said she was in a meeting and he would schedule another time for us to talk in the coming week. The principal never contacted me again; when I sent him an email a week later, he said they'd "filled the position internally." But I saw that he put up another job posting for the same position two weeks later. One of the odder interviews I've ever had.
