I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Fast Track Management (Watford, East of England, England) in Dec 2015
Interview
I was invited to a first interview, present for this interview was MY Line Manager to be and the Managing Director.
We discussed my sales background and why I wanted to get into recruitment.
My CV was dissected and gone through job by job. FastTrack was happy with what they heard and decided that I should come back for a second interview, I was however given a task.
I was asked to put together a presentation on the construction industry as a whole and given the following guidelines to do this.
Identify 5 Major construction companies
Explain what they specialise in
Identify 2 projects each of them are working on
Explain the process of general construction from start to finish.
Do not use a power point presentation (they wanted to see my presentation skills without the distractions of technology)
I had 3 days to put this together.
I returned 3 days later and gave my presentation.
After which I was then given a power point presentation on FastTrack by the manager which explained in detail what the company was all about and how they operated, I was shown round the office and introduced to people.
10 minutes after the tour I was offered a position at FastTrack as a Trainee Consultant.
The interview process ran smoothly and I wasn't made to feel uncomfortable at any time.
