I applied online. I interviewed at Fastenal (Indianapolis, IN) in May 2017
Interview
2 phone interviews and 2 personal interviews, in which I've got well over twenty years experience and twelve yrs on my current job, after wasting two of my vacation days to go to Fastenal and only living 4 blocks away from them they didn't want to hire me ! Although they made it seem like I was gonna be a good fit for them! They are the same as other big business! That's all I can say.

Interview
Two interviews with different supervisors. All the typical questions. Just research the company, know how to say why you want the position, talk about "integrity" (as in doing what's right when no one is looking.) They don't care if you have experience as a machinist--they prefer you don't. That way it takes awhile for you to understand how substandard it is.

Interview
The interview process was a fairly long process. I applied, 3 weeks went by before I got a call for the first interview. The interview went well and another 2 weeks went by before I got the call for a 2nd interview. After the 2nd interview, a week went by where I was offered the position. I then had to take a drug test and wait until the results came back then I had to sign some paperwork online and watch some videos. In the end, I got the job. Just took a lot longer than I figured it would.
