I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fasthosts Internet (Gloucester, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
Completed 2 stages virtually and was invited to Gloucester for the final stage.
I was added to a repo and asked to refactor the code to solve some listed bugs.
I was able to solve as much as possible, but I guess the process was not very smooth. for me, that is basically I was being watched. There is something about being watched doing something. 2 days later, I got a rejection email.

Interview
The interview process seemed good.
Had a call with recruitment, then invited to an interview.
Never got a response after interview, had to chase numerous of times and still to date zero feedback.

How I’d deal with a difficult situation
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fasthosts Internet (Gloucester, England) in Oct 2022
Interview
1st two interview were fine and both the HR and Marketing staff were very positive about the company 3rd interview was a very unpleasant experience: Directions to the office were not given, the website page they send you isn't live. Difficult to find and park near the building, there is a receptionist in the building but they don't answer the phone so I had to resort to email to the HR dept to try to contact them to say I was a few minutes late. Obviously I arrived stressed and made to feel very unwelcome as I had upset their schedule for the day by being 10 minutes late. Once I got into the interview, I was asked to present my prepared materials, at the end of which I was told simply " that wouldn't work here". There was a lot of confusion about the actual job role, with them switching me halfway through the process and they assumed I knew more about the roles and the company/ department structure than they had shared with me. I think there was a lack of clarity at the heart of the department / business and the recruitment process reflected this very chaotic working environment.
