I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Featurespace (London, England) in June 2019
Interview
Applied through a recruiter, was asked to prepare some home assignment. Had a pleasant interview and then never heard back!
This is just not OK. The company expects every candidate to come fully prepared, to spend couple of hours working on a slideshow and then take the day off , travel and spend few hours with them, but in return - leave you hanging for over a month with no update whatsoever. Bad practice that leads to bad reputation.
Poor candidate experience, lacking respect for the time and mental energy it takes to apply for a role even through a recruiter. Employers demand and expect of high level diligence and quality in role submissions. A wake up call to Featurespace is that candidates both deserve and warrant the same in return. Transparency in both process and feedback were sadly lacking. Disappointed in this hygiene hence my negative review on the interview process.

Question 1
Irrelevant generic questions showing a lack of what is needed to both build a relationship and garner long term support. Gave the impression of a trader rather than partner?
