Federato Forward Deployed Software Engineer interview questions

A recruiter reached out and set up an initial recruiter screening. Followed by hiring manager interview and a few technical interviews, one with a coding question and a sql query, the second on system design. Their responses were prompt but the overall process took about a month. I received an offer and accepted but a few weeks before the start date they rescinded the offer due to an updated headcount forecast. They knew I had resigned from my previous employer and they were not open to reconsideration. There was no mention of this during the interview process, in fact it was more of the opposite. Their recent funding and large hiring goals came up multiple times throughout the process. Very disappointed in how it turned out.
