I applied online. I interviewed at Fever (London, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
Overall positive experience throughout. The HR manager was personable and seemed genuinely invested in finding the right candidate, I never felt left in the dark at any stage, which I appreciated. The process had 4 stages: HR screening, Mettl test, a 30-minute call with the hiring manager, and a final round presenting a business case to the hiring team (in my case, three people over 60 minutes).
The Mettl test proved the trickiest part. I'd never encountered anything like it, so I spent a week practising with online resources, and it was quite frustrating. It has three sections; the visual reasoning component requires considerable familiarity with this puzzle format.
The business case was well-structured. One unexpected piece of feedback: I was told I'd relied too heavily on the company's previous projects when developing my concept and P&L calculations. I remain somewhat confused by this, as I'd assumed referencing publicly available company data would demonstrate solid research. Otherwise the panel asked engaged constructive questions.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
First round was fairly standard: tell me about yourself, why Fever, and so on.
Third round went deeper, e.g.: What projects make you a strong candidate for this role? How would you describe yourself as a project manager? How do you usually respond to constructive criticism? Tell me about a time you had to deliver a project under pressure or with significant constraints. If I contacted your previous employer, what might they say is an area you're still working on?
Fourth round questions centred around the business case. Be prepared to explain precisely how you arrived at all (and I mean ALL :) ) the data used in your modelling.
Long! Six rounds with phone screens, psychometric testing, case interviews, all before meeting anyone I’d potentially work with. Talent Acquisition was quick to respond, kind, and professional, but for the process felt long winded and excessive.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Fever (Madrid) in Mar 2026
Interview
My experience was disappointing. Communication was almost nonexistent. The process relied entirely on a complex psychometric test, and after completing it, I only received a brief rejection with no feedback or explanation.
