Involved a SQL + Python question. The SQL question was asked in a weird way where you you couldn't query the answers. Python questions were fairly straight forward but split into multiple parts.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Figma in Oct 2024
Interview
Around a two-hour asynchronous technical interview on a platform called Byteboard. First half was a combination of analysis of a written product case and SQL queries, second part was two more straightforward Python coding questions followed by an open-ended one that involves coding and written analysis. Final round was a generic behavioral interview and a case where you went through an analysis on whether to add a feature to a product and how to measure its impact.

Question 1
Would a larger sample size be needed to measure a 2% increase in a KPI compared to a 5% increase?

Interview
Take-home timed assessment, behavioral form, and final round (2 interviews back-to-back). The assessment is pretty difficult. The interview requires heavy product sense knowledge, though the interviews themselves weren't too bad.
