      Recruiter Interview

      5 Feb 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Figma in Jan 2026

      Interview

I was reached out to by a talent sourcer on their team via LinkedIn and I scheduled a recruiter phone screen within the same day. Less than 24 hours before the scheduled call, the sourcer said she wasn't feeling well and needed to reschedule. When the day of the interview arrived, I waited 5 minutes on the Zoom call, but she did not log on. I reached out via LinkedIn and email, asking if she was still interested, but received no response. Why would you reach out to someone and then not follow through with an initial call? I wasted time booking two different interviews and conducted extensive research on Figma and its competitors.

      Recruiter Interview

      28 Jan 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Figma in Jan 2025

      Interview

I had one phone screen for the Recruiter role - the Recruiting Manager who screened me took over a week to follow up, and I had to reach out to get a response to which I was told they were moving forward with other candidates. I thought the interview had gone well so I asked for feedback and was met with silence. Upon reading other reviews of interviews at Figma, it seems common practice for this segment of the recruiting team to not follow up with candidates. I wouldn't normally post feedback like this, but my colleague had the same experience with the same Recruiter. I would recommend recalibrating your follow-up, especially with fellow talent acquisition professionals as it isn't a great impression of your company.
