I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at FinCEN (Washington, DC) in May 2015
Interview
I applied online and after a few weeks, I heard back from the HR department. I had to fly to Washington D.C. for the interview. The interview was not bad at all, all behavioral with questions about where I get my news from and what I like to do in my free time.
