I applied in-person. I interviewed at Fine & Country (Maidstone, England)
Interview
Very easy. Send CV over directly to them, they will call you back and invite for interview.
At the interview, the hiring manager will do the talking so you don't need to do anything.
I had an impression that the company does not focus on your skills or your experience, they focus on getting staff through the door so that they could survive. They know you will most likely not stay, so they don't care about you. They need someone to pick up the phone as offices can get busy at times and the phone keeps ringing all day.
Expect a good atmosphere, lots of smiles and positivity, you will come out thinking this job is too good to be true. And oh boy you will be right...
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They will do the talking (to the extent where you will have nowhere to interrupt or nothing to add) trying to sell you the position from all the angles as staff turnover is super high and they desperately need you.
They asked me 2/3 questions.
Why do you want to work for us? (but will answer this for you as well)
What do you know about us? (and then talk about the company non-stop for 30 min), don't waste your time preparing.
