I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Finish Line (Nashville, TN) in Sept 2013
Interview
The interview took a long time to schedule. It was difficult to get in touch with the managers at the time. Once in contact, the interview was scheduled for two weeks out. It was short and sweet, mostly just questions about if I could do certain things like bring out three pairs of shoes, encourage people to buy certain things, and essentially if I could sell the products. It was pretty formally structured, but wasn't a high pressure interview.
Standard entry level customer service industry questions. Hired on the spot. Quick process one on with the manager. Got a tour of the store right after. Reviewed resume with manager and went over work history
The interview process typically includes an initial phone screening, followed by one or more interviews with team members or managers, assessing skills, experience, and cultural fit, with potential for final-round evaluations.
interview was very straightforward. some easy questions, some tough questions. there were lots of scenario questions that i loved answering. i am very eager to hear back for my second interview
