      Embedded systems engineer intern Interview

      17 Apr 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Firefly Aerospace in Mar 2026

      Interview

This was an hour long 1 on 1 interview that consisted of the first 20 minutes being used for introductions for each person. Talking about school, previous experiences, engineering projects etc. This followed with a more in depth talk about engineering projects and my role within one of my clubs, what I did for the club, how I problems solved, and what I've learned from the club. Then the last half hour was used as a technical and behavioral interview. Asking simple questions about topics I wasn't knowledgeable in and digging deeper into those topics to see how I responded. If I started to answer questions well then we switched topics.
