      Narrative Designer Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Firesprite

      Interview

Completed a remote interview for a lead-level role. The interview seemed to go well but I received no feedback on the outcome. I contacted the company about four weeks later but received no response. Finally, seven weeks after the interview, the company emailed to say that hiring for role had been paused. They also encouraged me to apply for other roles at the company. As it happens there was another vacancy in which I was interested, so I replied to the email expressing my interest only to receive no response. Granted, the company was going through an acquisition at the time, but that’s no excuse for ignoring candidates who’ve invested considerable time and effort in applying for roles and preparing for interviews.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Some that were typical for this kind of role, others that I can’t imagine told the interviewers anything useful about me, e.g. If you could work for any studio, which one would it be?
