I applied online and received an email reply very quickly calling me for interview. Since I applied for the Options programme, there were a large number of other candidates being interviewed at the same time. As candidates arrived, we were brought up to the board room. Here we were given a presentation about the Options programme - this was to allow people to decide whether it was for them or not.
We were then split into groups and each group completed a different part of the interview process in rotation. These were as follows:
- Two 1-on-1 interviews
- Group discussion about selling a product to a new client
- Q&A with a current Options employee
- Logical Aptitude Test
The interview was very much a two-way process with them keen to provide information as much as obtain it. The HR team are very friendly and I didn't meet any of the technical team on the day, although one of the HR team has a technical background. The interview questions were pretty general - your strengths, why finance, are you willing to travel, etc. It's advisable to have a very thorough knowledge of the company and its products - especially for the group discussion.
