The representative from HR contacted me and we discussed my goals and career needs. After a discussion for 30 minutes, he informed me that I would be meeting with one of the SVPs to discuss the role. Approximately one week later, I met with the SVP and we had an excellent discussion about First Midwest Bank, the role I was interviewing for, the structure of the compliance program, my qualifications and the next steps in the interview process. I was contacted in approximately two days to inform me that I would be interviewing with the Chief Compliance Officer. We met at the Chicago office and the discussion was similar to the conversation I had with the SVP. I contacted the HR representative the following day to provide a debriefing on the interview. Two days after this conversation I was informed the Bank wanted to go ahead and make an offer. I received the offer letter and gladly accepted. Overall, the interview and hiring process was a positive one and I am looking forward to working at First Midwest Bank.
