I'm sorry you had this experience. At Flank, we understand the people make the company, and so our hiring process is intensive and always includes a founder. In order to ensure the process is as organised and worthwhile as possible for both sides, we have a dedicated internal talent partner (not a "recruiter") who ensures candidates needs are met and expectations are clearly communicated.
In rare cases there is a miscommunication. In your case, you sent an unprofessional, aggressive mail to us after receiving a rejection from a different company altogether. You mistakenly thought that the email had come from us. Upon realising your mistake, you apologised, but we felt uncomfortable with continuing the process due to how you had conducted yourself here.
Regarding hiring for this role, we hired four people into this position (from >200 applications) and we continue to grow.
