Interview
Initially a recruiter reached out after I applied through the website. We scheduled an intro call, which went well as far as scheduling, and followed up with a video interview. Before I go any further I'll add that it's clear that this company is growing rapidly to say the least. A key to success is to control that growth and keep hiring standards high. Were there a few hiccups during the process? Yes. But after interviewing with many other companies I can honestly say that Flexport's process was incredibly organized after all is said and done.
After the video interview I met with the team and then after a few more follow up calls was extended an offer.
The interview questions were intelligently curated to identify job fit, and the interviewers were very transparent. If you are ready to work hard, learn, have fun and are truly interested in changing an entire industry then you should do just fine. Kudos to everyone involved; this was a great first impression to the company.

LONG and extensive. Just because you move on to the next round doesn’t mean they like you. My interview consisted of a case study, 6 interviews including HR screen. People were all very nice and not intimidating.

Es gab mehrere Gesprächsrunden mit Mitarbeitern aus unterschiedlichen Abteilungen. Teilweise wiederholten sich Themen, aber im Großen und Ganzen konnte ich so ein sehr gutes Gefühl bekommen, ob es zu mir passt oder nicht.

Interview
It was meeting with several folks on the team, I believe 5 team members in total. 1 was the City Manager. Then there was also a Case Study. The Case Study was supervised by one of the people I interviewed with and was very challenging (but that is by design). It is less about what you know and how well you problem solve.
