Participated in the hiring drive conducted in hyderabad for SDE-2 role. It was a frustrating experience. They took 4 rounds of interview. Machine coding & evaluation, Problem solving and Design round. After this there was the Hiring Manager round. Due to time constraint I was not able to have the Hiring manager round (Which was the worst decision :( ) and they decided to have this round via Google hangouts on other day. After following up multiple times, HR scheduled the interview. But without any intimation to HR, the hiring manager didn't show up for the interview. Again after multiple calls from me they scheduled the interview a week after. To my disbelief, the Hiring manager again didn't take the interview. There was no communication from HR. After few apologies, the HR scheduled the HM round with some other manager which I attended a week later. After regularly following up with HR (who never bothered to gave a call) I got a feedback that everything is positive and that they would get back to me with further update after debrefing. Again there was no communication from HR. After calling her a few times she sent me an email saying debriefing was positive. She asked me to forward payslips, CTC breakup, and the other company's offer letter. She told me that she would get back in 3 working days. Assuming everything is positive I rejected other offers. After 4 days I called her to get status. She said that offer letter is sent for approval and I will receive it maximum by next morning. After not receiving any update from them for few more days I again called HR. To my frustration she replied saying that because of organisational restructuring my offer is on hold and hiring had been frozen. After arguing for sometime as I rejected other offer she gave a lame justification that nowhere in email it was mentioned that I was selected and said that my design is not upto expectation and so they will conduct design round if they start hiring again. This was totally a frustrating experience. HR never bothered to communicate anything. I had to call them every time to get update. I rejected other offer because of this failed process by one of the top e-commerce companies of india. Worst experience ever.
