I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Flock (London, England) in July 2021
Interview
Meeting with recruiter (3rd party) to discuss role in general.
Meeting with hiring manager very similar to the one with recruiter.
Presentation and role play session , which was cancelled last minute as they decided to change the role requirements.
We're sorry to hear about your experience. The speed at which we're growing occasionally means revisiting the required skillsets for the roles we have on offer. Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback and good luck in your job search.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Flock (London, England) in July 2023
Interview
The entire process was incredibly disjointed. I was interviewed by one person who said I was the best fit they’d found then she ghosted me. I followed up to be told I was unsuccessful for the claims position? Queried and was told they said the wrong role and it was the H of CS role I had been unsuccessful for. Two months later I saw they were still actively looking so I reached out and was told they had no record of me and the recruiter I’d dealt with had now moved on could I send them my CV again. I sent it and was then interviewed again. The process as stated by the recruiter sounded really unusual. First stage is the recruiter - normal, 2nd CRO interview - normal, 3rd whiteboard/project with the only CSM they have and I was told almost everyone has failed at this stage (if the CSM the role would be leading has such heavy influence on the hiring of this leader that almost everyone is failing at this stage something isn’t quite right) last stage is with the CEO/founder. I then received a rejection saying they needed more motor fleet experience and thanks but no thanks. No issue with this - other than making it clear the previous 2 interviews exactly what my experience was. It feels like my time was waisted in this regard. After the 2nd rejection I then received a survey request and a week later I received a further rejection email… It really appears that this business needs a bit of a recruitment overhaul. I get it - they’re still in the scale up phase but I’ve rarely encountered such a disjointed process.

Question 1
What do you need to be the most successful in your career? How would the team you have previously lead describe you and your leadership style?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Flock (London, England) in June 2023
Interview
I really enjoyed the interview process - they set out exactly what the process would be at the beginning (4 stages) and stuck to it. I found them highly responsive, engaging and lovely to communicate with. Unfortunately I didn't get offered the role, but based on my experience during the interview process I'd definitely recommend Flock as a place to work.
