This company is either outsourcing hiring or unloading it onto the operational staff.
Since it takes them almost a week to decide if you should go into the next round — it is likely the second scenario.
Initially, you will be asked to produce some information about the company, requiring light research.
In the second round, you will be asked to produce a test task, taking up to 1h of your time.
And then, you will not hear a pep.
Just like it is not worth the time for Bill Gates to pick up $100 — apparently, it is not worth their time to spend even 5 minutes to send a standardized rejection letter.
But it only gets better from here.
Imagine if a company actually doesn’t have to hire anyone but likes free labor.
1.Post an ad.
2.Pre-screen employees.
3.Send out personalized tasks and harvest the best ideas.
4.Ghost everyone.
Voila. Smoke and mirrors slavery!
FlowCandy doesn’t respect your time. Do yourself a favor and better not waste any of your time on them.
p.s. This is the very first review of this company on Glassdoor. It will eventually be discovered by someone from the company and then I expect the management to do damage control and try to bury this, but if you are perceptive you will notice what was first.
