I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fluro (London, England) in Sept 2022
Interview
It was quite a lean 3 stage interview process: first round 30 min call based on work experience with the Hiring Manager; second round is a technical discussion with 2 senior team members, solving a high level architecture problem and a team structure challenge; last round is meeting the CTO and CEO.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fluro in July 2024
Interview
I filled in a form, sent my CV, and they selected me for a process.
After developing what they asked, all I got was a compliment on the strengths of my codebase, but they gave me a very vague feedback saying ti didn't cover all the scenarios which is false, as they didn't even bother to review it properly.
They even went as far as telling me that my code was too complex which I completely disagree with, there is nothing complex about it, I followed OOP principles, and it was very readable, I wrote 20+ feature tests, terrible feedback.
I don't regret participating in the process, but I hope my review helps someone who might participate in the future.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fluro (London, England) in Sept 2022
Interview
It's a standard 3 stage interview, with an initial chat with the CTO, then a technical round where you are asked to solve a system design problem and a team structure one. The final round was with the CTO and CEO on culture and team fit.
