I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Flywheel Software (Sichuan) in Feb 2021
Interview
Google’s interview process is fairly structured and designed to assess technical ability, problem-solving, and culture fit. While details vary by role (software engineer, product manager, data scientist, etc.), the overall flow is usually as follows:

Question 1
A common, memorable one is:
“Tell me about a time you faced a difficult problem and how you solved it.”
At Google, this question often blends problem-solving + ownership + impact. They’re less interested in what the problem was and more in:
• how you broke it down,
• how you made trade-offs,
• how you handled ambiguity,
• and what the outcome was.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Flywheel Software (Redwood City, CA) in June 2015
Interview
easy interview, talked about your future, school, work experiences, why flywheel, why start ups, commitment to the firm, long term goals, short term goals, five year plan, why did you get your masters in finance
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Flywheel Software (Redwood City, CA)
Interview
Simple. Asked the questions you'd expect to get. Really not a single difficult question. Do any homework at all on the company and position, piece of cake. Most questions are basic, what would you do in this situation, how is your work history relevant to the job. I wouldn't worry much about the interview process, worry more about whether you actually want to work here.
