I started the first job interview with Fokker landing gear based in Papendrecht on 30th March 2023. Then, I did the second job interview with them on 6th April 2023. I got a confirmation call from the interviewer on 14th April 2023 about the position of process engineer. So I could start my assignement on 15th May. The HR department sent compliance documents to sign on 18th April 2023, I completed them and sent them back to HR department on the same day. However, they organized a compliance check just a week before my departure from France to Netherlands on 8th May, because I was born in China (I got a French nationality after living 9 years in France and my former nationality is Chinese). After the compliance check, they completely canceled this offer. Which disturbed me a lot is the recruitment process of Fokker is a disaster. If the compliance check (background check) is the most important part of your department, why you don't put the compliance check AT THE BEGINNING OF recruitment process. It is a huge waste of time and money and personal energy for the applicant!
