I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Foot Locker (New York, NY) in Feb 2017
Interview
It was simple. We talked about our favorite sneakers and my availability. It was like I was already part of the family already. They were ready to teach me all about the sneaker world if I was willing to learn. It’s better when your availability is flexible.
I applied online and got a phone call a week later to do the in person interview. In person I had to visit the store and ask for the manager that contacted me.
It was 10-15 minutes. Went pretty easy. They asked about me random questions and then told me about the job. The interviewer was nice and told me not to worry and that it is just general things.
The interview was quick and easy. They asked basic sales-related questions and just wanted to make sure you would be pleasant and helpful. No in-depth shoe knowledge is necessary. Not for you if you want to be a laid back sales person.
