I applied online. I interviewed at Foot Locker (Sydney) in Feb 2020
Interview
Very casual, needs more work on professionalism. It is alright for younger generation, there is also not much career growth. While the environment is laid-back and suited to a younger generation, it could benefit from a more professional tone. Additionally, there are limited opportunities for career advancement, which may not appeal to those seeking long-term growth and development in their career trajectory.
I applied online and got a phone call a week later to do the in person interview. In person I had to visit the store and ask for the manager that contacted me.
It was 10-15 minutes. Went pretty easy. They asked about me random questions and then told me about the job. The interviewer was nice and told me not to worry and that it is just general things.
The interview was quick and easy. They asked basic sales-related questions and just wanted to make sure you would be pleasant and helpful. No in-depth shoe knowledge is necessary. Not for you if you want to be a laid back sales person.
