I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Ford Foundation in June 2020
Interview
After submitting my application online, I received an invitation to the Ford Foundation's selection process a few weeks later, which unfolded in five distinct stages. Initially, I had an interview with a headhunter, followed by a written exercise. Subsequently, there was an interview with the program officers, followed by sessions with directors from various teams. The culmination was a final meeting with the program director.
The entire process was notably thorough and rigorous, adhering to a formal structure. The interview questions were a thoughtful mix of technical assessments and inquiries aimed at assessing my interpersonal skills and cultural fit.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Ford Foundation (New York, NY)
Interview
Easy. Good conversation with a recruiter, followed up by my potential manager. HR was communicative every step of the way. There was some lag in response time towards the end, but otherwise a positive experience.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ford Foundation in July 2024
Interview
Initial 45 min Zoom interview with HR then a 1:1 interview with the team director about a week later. HR person was friendly and responsive during the first stage. Questions were pretty standard/as expected. In the second interview, the director was rude, interrupted me repeatedly, and ended the meeting abruptly before our scheduled end time. HR person never got back to me.
The HR and interview process was quite smooth and I appreciated their professionalism. No questions were out of left field and I felt really taken care of by the HR professional on their team.

Question 1
Very specific role related work and goals for the future. It was much more of a free flowing conversation than me being grilled.
