I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ForeFlight in Nov 2025
Interview
Easy process, embarrassingly unprofessional recruiter.
Had a scheduled video screener with recruiter for interview. Doesn't even show up, emails me 5 minutes in asking to reschedule. Giving benefit of the doubt, I agree to meet at a later date.
They then schedule a make up call, only to change the time several times without asking what works for me. Luckily, finally settled on a time that still worked for me.
Had the interview, was given an assessment and conflict of interest form to fill. Rather easy assessment, returned conflict of interest form. No answer from recruiter. Follow up later that day given that I took time away from my studies to fill out their form. Again, no answer.
Finally got back to me but by that point I was no longer interested in the role so I didn't reach back out to recruiter. Never received any feedback on assessment or rejection for role. Big waste of time. Candidates beware.

Question 1
How have you approached contract negotiating and redlining in the past?
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ForeFlight in Nov 2024
Interview
Applied through a google form and then two weeks later the recruiters reached out to schedule a meeting that was a huge zoom info session with lots of other applicants. At the end, every applicant was sent a Coderbyte coding OA to complete. After a month, they reached back to schedule a live online interview with a software engineer, where you would go over your coding assessment and also your resume, and other technical questions. And then one month after that, we were notified of our application statuses around December.

Question 1
Explain your process for this problem (the take home OA)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ForeFlight (Austin, TX) in May 2025
Interview
Grueling assessment needed to move forward to next role. Told I was the 2nd highest score, only to be ghosted and eventually told they hired a licensed pilot which is why the assessment was so difficult. Why not only hire licensed pilots for this position?

Question 1
Would I consider acquiring my pilots license in the future?
