Interview
General IQ-like test: Candidates are required to take an IQ-like test to assess their cognitive abilities, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking. Assessment centre: Successful candidates from the initial test proceed to the assessment centre, which involves interviews, group exercises, case studies, and presentations to evaluate skills, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities. Language test: Following the assessment centre, candidates undertake a language test to assess proficiency in relevant languages important for the role. Final interview: Candidates who excel in the previous stages participate in a final interview conducted by FCO representatives. The interview evaluates motivation, knowledge of international affairs, diplomatic skills, and suitability for the role.
