I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Formlabs (Boston, MA)
Interview
It was a good interview. Two interviewers were there. They started asking about the projects that i have done so far. Then they asked about specifics of the project. After answering all their question, I had to solve a problem. I had to talk through my ideation process.
I applied online. There were two interview rounds, and the process took three weeks.
The first round was a screening with a mechanical engineer. They asked me to tell my "story" about my engineering journey, then we did a deep dive on my technical projects. They asked me some detailed questions to understand the scope of my technical contributions. Then we transitioned to a very simple technical question, which was mostly open ended questions.
The second round was with two mechanical engineers, and I was given a technical challenge. I was asked to elaborate on my answers so they could understand my thought process and my engineering fundamentals. The interview was an hour, and then I was able to ask some questions of my own.
I heard back a week later with my offer!
I did a first round of interviews so far and they asked me to describe one project from my resume, then asked a technical question about when to choose aluminum vs. steel, then opened the floor to any questions I may have had. I have a second interview coming soon.

Question 1
Can you talk about one of the projects on your resume? How would you change your design if it were to be produced commercially?
