I applied online. I interviewed at Fortra in Jan 2021
Interview
I had 2 interviews for a position in Canada for Software Developer in January, a call with a recruiter and then a second interview with the head of the department.

Question 1
Although I had a very good experience with my first call, wherein the recruiter gave me an overview of the company and the position, which made me very excited to join as she was nice enough to ask questions about my background but also what I've enjoyed the most and what I would like to do in my career... the second interview was very strange. The Manager seemed annoyed and wanting to get the interview over with quickly. It almost seemed like he had already decided not to move forward with me even after the interview. I don't see the point of interviewing someone if they've already made up their minds about a candidate.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fortra (Yerevan, Yerevan) in Mar 2022
Interview
Interview process had a 4 part.
First part is a technical interview about C++ and soft skills.
Second part is a technical Task.
3rd and 4th parts is a interview with Intermapper managers.

A few questions about different run time and compile time.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Fortra (Farmington, CT) in July 2021
Interview
Short phone call, seemed to go well enough. But then rejected for now specific reasons. Seemed disorganized and the interviewer didn't really know what they were looking for. Not much else to say, guess first round doesn't count for anything.
The interview was a mix of behavioural and do you know X technology type questions. The interviewer did not have a clear knowledge of the role she was haring for. For example, she was asking me about Angular which wasn't mentioned in the job description, actually, the job description does mention strong React knowledge. When I indicated that, she said " I don't know too much about the technical details of the job". Furthermore, I was told that the company greatly values all their candidates, and would appreciate answering any questions over email. However, despite my attempts, I never received a single reply. The company's career page and the recruiter talk a lot about their values like happy employees, respect, etc. They claim that they live their values every single day but in my experience, I found this to be a total lie. Overall, I found this interview experience to be quite dishonest and deceptive.
