Very thorough but highly enjoyable! Initially I submitted the online application, then completed online tests, passed and was invited to book a face to face interview at the office I've applied to. This interview was with an Audit Senior and involved a case study and a competency based interview. Next was the assessment centre which was held in London. This was completely different to previous years as they have changed their AC. There was about 20 of us and we were split into 4/5 groups. First my group has the group exercise which involved discussing options given and reaching a conclusion between us, while being watched by two members of staff. We were then told to prepare for an interview based on the group task which we would later present to a Partner. Then I had my Partner interview which was a strengths based interview and although set questions, it was a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I then presented to the partner for 5 minutes and then was asked a few follow up questions. Finally we then had a numerical and written test for 25 mins. We then got chance to chat to staff and graduates already working for Mazars. It was a very tiring but enjoyable day and every single member of staff was absolutely lovely.
