I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Forward (San Francisco, CA) in July 2024
Interview
Went through the whole interview process and it was great. Toured their offices, met the director of Engineering and whatnot. No real flags besides the director being pretty intense, but I was super excited about the opportunity. Then I got rejected out of the blue and they wouldn't say why. It would have been a dream to work here but I guess they had other plans for me.
TLDR: even if you pass everything you still get rejected, don't expect to know why.
Great! Focused system design + average leetcode questions. Behavioral interview was very nice and straightforward. Systems design interview include building a scribe tool for doctors to use. Was more a paired session with the interviewer.
It was pretty normal as far as interviews in tech go for entry level engineers. It felt like they were spending more time selling me on their product than on questioning me. Some standard Leetcode style question.
