I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Foundation for California Community Colleges in Feb 2024
Interview
The process was slow. It took 1 month for 2 interviews and receiving rejection. First I had phone screening with recruiter J.T. for general screening questions. Second interview was a panel interview with 3 for 45 minutes with T.A., N.S, S.R. What it felt sus here is that all 3 interviewers had different companies listed in their linkedin profiles. If you check their linkedin profiles they are not working for FCCC. And their job titles were completely different than what they listed in interview emails. That was quite strange and felt like its a scam.
As a person who has manual and automation QA experience, I noticed that they do not have any plan for the scope of this new role. They don't know what tools or what approach will be taken.
It is important to say that the interview did not feel real or professional.
I couldn't get concrete or clear answers to my general questions about the role and company during the panel interview. 1 week later I followed up and I received an automated rejection email.
Overall the process was slow and felt unprofessional. You answer their questions with 100% accuracy but disregarded for answering 2+2 = 4. The only good thing here is that the interview durations were ok.
Candidate's skills, capacity and potentials are not rewarded here.
I would say do not waste your time to apply.
