      Customer Service Representative Interview

      26 July 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Belgrade, Central Serbia
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Foundever (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in June 2018

      Interview

First they call you on the phone. They ask you some brief questions and if you have any, they also switch to the language of the job to see if it's any good. Then you are told it's good enough and you should have no problem completing the next part of the hiring process but they do it anyway. The next part is a written test to test (in this case), my knowledge of the English language. It lasted 1 hour, I passed the test and about an hour after having done it, they called to let me know I was invited to a group interview. I met 2 other candidates at this group interview, a woman that was younger than me, college aged and an older man, possibly in his 50s, maybe late 40s. First we met with one guy who just chatted with us in general, asking about ourselves, getting to know us, talking in English and trying to figure out our level of language I suppose. I was the only one without an accent, I have a flawless American accent. He explained some parts of the job to us, some general aspects of it. The man had no experience in this type of role, he was an engineer for most of his life. The girl had 6 months of experience in this type of role, and in the specific industry we'd be dealing with. I had 2 years of experience but in a separate industry. Then we met the next guy who switched back to our language and went into detail of the gritty parts of the job trying to off-put us. We acted like we were fine with it. He went into a lot of detail about the day-to-day workings of the company. And then took us in for individual interviews. The man got the job despite having no experience and the worst accent out of all of us. The reason is, they hire only for 3 months and are not looking for anyone who has long-term goals at a job like this or if they do, someone they can easily fire with a good excuse (we would have been contracted for a British company and they could easily fire him, or rather, not extend his contract, proclaiming his accent was bothering customers as they couldn't understand him)

      Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Foundever (Indianapolis, IN) in Mar 2026

      Interview

Posting this for awareness and to see if this is typical of the company. I took the time to complete all the pre-interview assessments, etc. I have been stood up twice for a phone interview. After hearing back to schedule and interview initially, I did so. I waited the entire time for the scheduled interview and this time I did get an e-mail two minutes before the interview would have ended letting me know that the itnerviewer was experiencing internet issues. As advised, I rescheduled. Fast forward to the rescheduled interview. An hour before it, I received an e-mail regarding a test of my internet speed. Completed quickly, test passed and e-mailed right back. It is now an hour after the interview was scheduled to begin, as of yet, I have received no call, no text, or e-mail yet regarding why the interviewer was a no-show. I truly think my skills and experience would be a great match with the company but if this is how my time is valued, I will look elsewhere. Apologies for the long review but definitely wanted to make job seekers aware.
