      Supply Chain Planner Interview

      12 Mar 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Austin, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Four Hands (Austin, TX) in Mar 2018

      Interview

I had 10 interviews total, along with two tests. (IQ & Personality.) Phone Screen with recruiter, then phone screen with hiring manager, one day with 4 individual back to back interviews & finally, another day with 4 individual back to back interviews the next week. One of the lengthiest interviews I've ever had with a company, but I didn't mind it one bit as every single person that interviewed me (all Senior Level execs) were sociable, receptive, professional, communicative and truly helped me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. I had already been through three other interviews with large companies that week, and I cannot say enough about the environment & culture of the team at Four Hands. They contacted me and kept me in the loop every step of the way as well as answered any questions I had, without hesitation. After such a positive experience from the very first time I spoke with the recruiter, I knew that I would have gone through many more interviews to work here. I definitely do not agree with the below comment, as I am of a different ethnicity, (along with vibrant colored hair) and I felt accepted as an individual from the moment I stepped into interview for the first time. Regardless of being able to pass tests, sometimes it's just not a good fit. After almost 20 interviews with different companies in the past few months, my interview here was by far the best experience I've had.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Four Hands

      Interview

Thought the interview went great. Aced all of their test they threw at me, had great experience for the job, have a love for the industry, and got along great with the team, or so I thought. I'm not sure if it was a race thing, but I literally can't think of another reason, and believe me I asked. The only response I received was there was someone more qualified for the job. A few weeks passed and the job is still posted. Seemed like a cool company, but in reality, they act very shady.

At Four Hands, we have developed a comprehensive vetting process that looks at a number of elements as we consider candidates for our open positions. Candidates meet with various members of the teams they will be working with, complete various assessments that evaluate natural behaviors and cognitive ability, and we work through a comprehensive process in which we follow up with provided references to get an idea of a candidate’s successes and struggles in previous roles. We use input from all parts of the process to create a complete candidate profile. Our hiring process is comprehensive and thorough, and we believe it provides us with the best overall qualified candidates who can meet our overall needs and requirements for a position. We hate to hear that a candidate walked away from interviewing with us without a clear understanding of why he or she was not hired. We hold our Core Value of Honest and Open Communication in high regard, and if the author of this review is still unclear, please feel free to email me directly at cbridges@fourhands.com. We are proud of what we have achieved as a company and the people that make up our team. It is our hope to find the best and brightest and to continue to build the strong team that has made our company so special and continues to set us apart from the rest.
