I applied in-person. I interviewed at Fox Restaurant Concepts (Leawood, KS) in Apr 2017
Interview
Filled out an application in restaurant and received an interview on the spot. Asked a series of questions more regarding how you would work at the restaurant, instead of past experience Met for second time and then was offered a job.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fox Restaurant Concepts (Santa Monica, CA) in July 2018
Interview
3 interviews for a minimum wage job. I was interviewed by a manager on the spot, she said she'd like to start training. When I didn't hear back, I emailed and asked what the status was they said to come in for an additional interview, in the middle of my work day. So I did and she said if I made it past that I'd get a third interview....for a hostess position that I had 5 years of experience doing and 3 references. Every other worker there said they didn't have the same process as me so they weren't sure why. They got back to me I was hired, said to start training then took that back and said I needed to come in for orientation..during my work day, which I already told them I couldn't do. Really didn't appreciate getting jerked around to be honest. I expect it in the restaurant business, but don't drag me for 3 interviews when you aren't even paying me after you told me in my first interview I could start training. It wastes my time and yours.

Interview
It was an overall average interview. Asked general questions of Why here? What do you know about the company. Do you know what a hostess does? It was a pretty simple interview not to many curveballs, and was overall a very comfortable experience. Even though I wasn't given a position, because they already hired people the previous day, it wasn't bad.
