Two rounds of interviews.
1st round with a recruiter at Palo Alto office, you can pick SJ or SF if you want. It should have been a 30-minute-interview but I was done after 20 minutes. Normal interview questions: why accounting, why Frank & Rimerman. The recruiter was very professional, I could definitely tell that she had spent time on my resume. She has also answered all my questions about the rotation program.
After about 3-4 days I got a an email inviting me for a 2nd round interview.
The 2nd round was a half-day-interview at SJ office, same as the 1st round, you can pick PA or SF if you prefer.
I met with a recruiting manager after I arrived. She went over the interview process with me and gave me a booklet about the process details and the company values, with my name on the cover page.
I started to love this company when I saw this booklet. It made me feel that they care about every single candidate.
After meeting with the recruiting manager, I was interviewed by a tax senior manager for about 30 minutes. It was the smoothest interview I’ve ever had. It was like chatting with a friend.
An associate and a senior tax associate brought me to lunch after I was finished with the tax senior manager. The lunch was a little awkward because I am not a talkative person. But still, I learned a lot about the company from them.
After lunch, I interviewed with an audit partner. For this part of the interview, I was the one who asked 90% of the questions. She gave me good answers.
That was it.
The recruiting manager told me that she will let me know the result in next week, but I got the offer on the following day.
I accepted the offer after the weekend.
