There was no interview process. I applied to be a substitute teacher online. I never spoke with any administration. Within 2 weeks or so, I received an email from FCPS to congratulate me on being hired. I was then given instructions on where to go to complete my background check.

It was a fairly easy process, I have a college degree and they need as many subs as they can get with an education. There isn't much training or roadblocks to beginning rather quickly.

There was no interview. You go online to fill an application. You get your references from all places worked, maximum of three references. They call you in for orientation about working with students, classroom management, fingerprinting, how to sign up in the sub system, etc.
