      Machine Learning Engineer Interview

      3 July 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FreeWheel (New York, NY) in June 2018

      Interview

      1. HackerRank coding challenge 2. Phone interview 3. On-site with 4-5 interviews in one day The day after the onsite the recruiter contacted me and told me they are going to give me an offer and that he will be working on preparing the offer with the accounting team. I was staying in NY temporarily when I had the interview. So after hearing the good news, I was happy and started planning my life accordingly. I started looking for places in New York, etc. However, a couple of days later the recruiter, sent me a generic rejection email! I was surprised and asked him what had changed, but never got a response from him. I have never heard or seen a company do this to a candidate! That's awful and super unprofessional.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Coding, algorithm, and ML questions. Nothing too difficult.
      Answer question

      Question 2

One interviewer gave me a sudoku puzzle and asked me to solve it as fast as I can!
