Applied through school's application process. I had a short screening interview with one person, and then a longer interview with several lawyers. The interviews were conversational and I had plenty of time to ask all of my interviewers questions as well.

Asked me about my work experience before law school, what my favorite class of 1L was and why, and why I was specifically interested in Freshfields (vs. other big law firms).
