I applied online. I interviewed at Frontier Airlines (Denver, CO) in Aug 2021
Interview
i had the f2f and it wasnt the best experience. they fly you out and the only flight options they gave me were a 6 and a half hour layover in one airport and then a late flight after that arrived to DEN at almost 12 am the night before the interview, which started at 7:30 am.. but i had to wake up at 5:30 am to get ready to get a rapid covid test by 6:45. i understand how those could be normal flights for flight attendants, but it seems like they were setting me up to fail. they assign you a number and it seems like based on the number they gave you, and how they acted, they already knew who they were going to hire before we all even went to answer interview questions. it’s like they brought us here just to say they had 200 people at the hiring event when they knew they were sending us home early. they had us sit in a room and did a presentation then had us say our name, our airport code and answer one of the three questions 1) what frontier tail animal best represents you and why 2) what frontier destination are you most excited to visit and why 3) if you could sit next to anyone on a plane who would it be and why.. while we waited to go into another room for “speed dating” type of interviews, one of the men answered questions that people had. the speed dating interviews were so rushed, i thought i did well even though we only had 1 minute to answer each question. the questions were simple and i watched pretty much every youtube video that prepares you for these interviews and talked about my own experiences as well. we had to wait in the first room for 4 hours for everyone to finish doing the speed dating round because it went by groups. we had no break during that time or food, just sitting listening to people ask the same questions over and over. they should stop wasting people’s time making them fly all the way out here if they already know before hand who they are going to pick, because they put all the people they dont pick in the same few groups. i was excited before the interview, but even before i found out that i didnt get the cjo i was getting bad vibes about the company based on the presentation and the recruiters answering our questions. they over emphasize that they are a growing company, that we arent just a number, and that they want to hire so many of us, but then they only pick 20 people and in reality we are just a number to them
