Question 1
Q. If you have background in research? Q. Questions based on resume and past experience
I applied online. I interviewed at FuelCell Energy in July 2022
Interview
I responded to posting on the company website. After a couple weeks, I received an E-mail invite to interview via Teams and was asked for available time slots (kindly note that the candidate is given the onus of accounting for any time zone differences). At the time of the scheduled interview relative to my time zone, my interviewer didn't show. I followed up with Reception, which couldn't offer an explanation but rescheduled my appointment with a different (?) interviewer the following week. I met with this fellow, whose style didn't offer much opportunity to expound on my background although he expressed interest in my inquiries. He additionally explained that my originally scheduled interviewer had filled his particular requisitions, which however doesn't justify ignoring an appointment with a prospective candidate. Afterwards, I never heard back despite a couple of timely E-mail follow-ups to my interviewer and Reception; attempting phone calls likewise was fruitless. FuelCell Energy presents itself as an unprofessional and disorganized company that doesn't care, and this experience was only helpful in the sense that I wouldn’t work here.
